Overview

Let's learn how to reuse materials like glass bottles, plastic jars and steel cans creatively instead of disposing of them. You will have the opportunity to learn the value of the materials around you, reusing and giving new life to beautiful decorative items rather than sending them to trash. You can convert a plastic oil can to wall hanging Ganesha or jam or sauce bottle into a flower pot. You can make wonders by giving new life to old furniture or table runner.


Recycling Craft - Glass Bottle Art - African Tribal Lady

We are pleased to announce an introduction to Glass Bottle Decor Art , a course of 2 classes, in which we will learn art of recling and crafting an African Tribal Lady on a glass bottle. With no prior painting/drawing experience required, this will be a guided session by a professional art and craft artist and is open for all amateur painting enthusiasts. Let's DYI an incredible piece of home decor for your or to gift your loves ones!

Date: 31 October - 1st November(Sat- Sun)

Time: 4:00 - 6:00 PM;

Fee (2 Class): Rs. 950

During this session, you will learn about
1. Techniques of painting different surface Glass, Plastic, Wood, Metal.
2. Tips to easily paint on different shapes
3. Embossing techniques with MouldIt and Thread for 3D effect
4. Painting and decoarating an impressive glass bottle

* Fee is inclusive of taxes.

* Seats are limited to maintain small-group of participants to ensure personal attention from the trainer. Please book in advance.


Materials Required

- Glass / Plastic bottle (1 litre) with plain surface. Remove the stickers in advance. You can use soft/hard drink/sauce bottle etc.

- A set of Acrylic Paints

- Fine tip permanent marker - black

- Round Brush (size 0,1,2,3, 4 OR 5 ). Flat brushes 2 , 3, 5.

- Sponge Dabber. You can also use good piece of sponge available at home.

- Pencil, scale, erasers, Knife

- Pallet, mug of water and rough cloth

- Newspaper, tissue paper, Talcum Powder.

- Optional Items for embossing - Fevicryl Mould It, Fevicol Glue, Jute thread/Sutli. You can buy it from local stationary store. If you want to order online, check with us for link. If you can't get these items, then you can just use acrylic paints.


About The Artist:

Monali Mohanty is founder of Rang which is specialized in art and crafts, hand painted customized home and office decor and utility products. She is based out of Mumbai and Biotechnologist and MBA . Art is her true calling and as a self-taught artist, She loves to explore various kinds of traditional and folk art forms.
