Let's unleash our imagination and paint our dream destinations to spend time at home creatively !
On a 2 days workshop we shall capture the mood of vibrant and spectacular landscape of Amsterdam, the historic capital of Netherlands. Amsterdam has always been known for its' ring of enchanting canals, romantic arched bridges and gorgeous colorful Dutch houses.
Pink and white blooming flowers in pots hanging along the cobblestone streets, vintage bikes leaning against the railing of the bridge and brightly painted boats cruising the canals are real treat to the eyes and make Amsterdam every artist’s dream.
Amsterdam Landscape in Acrylic
On a 2 days acrylic painting workshop, you will enjoy painting a sunny blue day of Amsterdam with it's striking bridges, blooming flowers, majestic autumn trees, colorful leaning houses and old-fashioned boats lining the pristine canals, in rich and charming colors of acrylic.

The class will sharpen your observation skills, color awareness, and help you learn simple drawing principles in watercolor.
1. Sketching - What to select and what to leave while drawing a landscape 2. Composition - Learn how to use composition of the painting in acrylic 3. Perspective - Learn how to draw different objects according to correct proportion and perspective 4. Depth - Learn building depth in the landscape drawing 5. Layers - Work in layers and create texture to build up the painting. 6. Mixing - How to blend and mix colors directly on the paper.

Materials Required
- A3 size ( 11.7 x 16.5 inch) White Thick art Paper.
- Acrylic Color Tubes. Artist Acrylic preferred.
- Set of Round and Flat Brush. pallet Knife if you have.
- Color Pallet, 2 mug Water
- Pencil, scale, erasers.
- Waste Cloth, tissue paper for cleaning
- 2 or 3 extra plain paper for practice
About The Artist:
Avanish Trivedi, who have learned art from Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata. He started painting in his early 20s and is pursuing his passion of painting for more than 14 years now. He has picked up Calcutta nostalgia as the central theme for most of his artworks. He paints landscapes/ portraits /still life and has done exhibition in many famous art galleries of India and abroad. His paintings are being collected across 19 countries. Avanish finds painting to be calming activity, he even found himself painting a lot during the lockdown. His journey inspires many to pick up the brush and start painting at any age.
