  • The City of Winds

    Board evening flight from Delhi to Baku International Airport and arrive Baku by the shore of the Caspian Sea in late evening. Post clearing your immigration formalities, proceed to the hotel in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. On the way delve into the captivating blend of old and modern in Baku with jaw-dropping modern architecture masterpieces, Check in the hotel and take good rest as the new day full of adventure awaits for you.


  • Caucasusian East and West blend

    Todays, we shall explore Baku, a perfect blend of modernization with traditions and cultures, blessed with an incredible range of man-made wonders, old and new. while the Old walled City Baku is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is also home to some of world’s most ambitious and stunning modern architectural wonders overlooking the Caspian Sea.

    Post breakfast, proceed to the Highland Park , one of the most picturesque spots in Baku, to experience the panorama of Baku city and Seaside National Park stretching along the Caspian Sea.

    Admire the imposing Flame towers , a signature design built on a hillock, inspired by Azerbaijan's long history with fire worshipping. The iconic design of Flame Tower, consist of three 140 metres high skyscrapers in the shape of flame and is visible from all corners of the Baku city.

    We shall go for a walking tour of 'Icheri Sheher' - the old city Baku which includes caravanserais, Muhammed mosques, Old Market Square, Palaces surrounded by 12th century medieval castle walls. Visit the UNESCO Heritage sites Shirvanshah's Palace and Maiden Tower’ . The mysterious Maiden tower is a icon of Azerbaijan’s capital city and even appears on the national currency, the Azerbaijani manat. The Shirvanshah’s Palace, the pearls of Azerbaijan's architecture, a splendid confection of sandstone, built in 12 century by the Shirvanshah dynasty. Walk through its sprawling courtyard, divankhana, ausoleum, pavilions, a mosque and a bath-house.

    Enjoy a panoramic city tour of Broadcast Tower, Martyrs’ Lane, Chrystal Hall, National Flag Square and go for a walk and shopping at Nizami street and Fountains square. Enjoy the evening getting some souvenirs for your close ones.

    Proceed back to hotel to enjoy sumptuous dinner in a restaurant and then slip into the land of dreams to energize yourself for an adventurous day ahead.


  • The Fire Worshippers and Open Air Museum

    When Marco Polo visited the Eastern Caucasus in the 13th Century and Azerbaijan was then a Persian territory, he made note of mysterious flames all over the Abseron Peninsula. Today post breakfast, we shall procced to Absheron , to visit the Temple of Eternal fire – Ateshgah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and stands as a testimony to Azerbaijan’s sacred relationship with fire stemming from its ancient Zoroastrian roots. Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. There are 14 Sanskrit, two Punjabi and one Persian inscription in the Ateshgah.

    Our next destination is Yanar Dağ or Fire Mountain , where a natural gas deposit has been burning since the 13th Century. Yanar Dağ is arguably the most impressive natural wonder in Azerbaijan its several spontaneously occurring fires have fascinated and frightened travellers to Azerbaijan over the millennia. It played a key role in the ancient Zoroastrian religion, which was founded in Iran and flourished in Azerbaijan in the first millennium BCE.

    Later, proceed to the open-air historical and ethnographic Gala museum which is actually an archaeological site of ancient ruins, a medieval town in Absheron Peninsula. Here you’ll witness rock paintings, constructions and everyday items from the Bronze age and later - 3rd-2nd millennia BC.

    We shall then return back to Baku and spend evening at the Baku Boulevard , also known as the National Seaside Park a favourite promenade for residents and visitors and the second largest in Europe after the park on the banks of the River Seine in Paris. Spend some leisure time walking on the Boulevard and post dinner, return to the hotel for good rest.


  • Elegance of Simple life in Village

    Today post breakfast, we shall begin our journey to Gabala , a ski resorts nestled amidst picturesque Greater Caucasus mountains in northern Azerbaijan and steeped in 2000 years old ancient heritage. Gabala is a hidden gem in Azerbaijan, where the fusion of rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and exquisite wines awaits.

    On the way, we shall visit picturesque Shamakhi and Lahij villages in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus. Shamakhi was medieval capital of the legendary state of the Shirvanshahsa and today a centre of winemaking and carpet weaving. Lahij village is known for its authentic handicraft’s traditions, particularly related to copper.

    We shall then have a boat ride in the Nohur Lake hugged by the unrivalled mountainous beauty. Proceed to the hotel in Gabala and take good rest post dinner.


  • The Sleeping Beauty of Alpine Vista

    Enjoy the silence and tranquillity of magical pine woods and the peaceful Nohur lake. Take a leisurely stroll by the lake, revelling in the calmness and breathtaking views of the still water against the backdrop of mountains.

    Post breakfast, we shall take a scenic cable car ride to the Tufandag Mountai n, called as 'Sleeping Beauty', located at 12,5000 ft to witness gorgeous views of the Caucasus Mountains and the alpine beauty of dense forested slopes all around.

    Return by cable car from the Tufandag Mountain and spend leisure time wandering the streets of Gabala, visit the New Mosque. We shall go for a vineyard and winery tour, to savor some of the most celebrated local wines and learn about the traditional method of wine making. Proceed back to hotel to enjoy sumptuous dinner in a restaurant and


  • Rock Art Cultural Landscape

    After breakfast, we shall proceed to Gobustan National Park which, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is longest continuing tradition of cave art in the world, dating back to the Paleolithic times, 10,000 B.C. Witness the astonishing collection of ancient carvings, cave paintings f over 6,000 ancient petroglyphs, depicting scenes of people, warriors, animals, boats, dances, hunting, camel caravans and more, which established the possibility that Azerbaijan was one of the cradles of civilization from which people emigrated to northern Europe several millennia ago.

    Azerbaijan, bounded by the Caspian Sea and Caucasus Mountains, is home to an amazing collection of about 350 mud volcanoes and fire mountains which are burning for 4000 years, even rain and water could not stop it. At Gobustan, discover the mystery of Azerbaijan’s many mud volcanoes , one of the world’s most intriguing natural wonders.

    We will then proceed to World’s first Industrially Drilled oil well which produced the first gush of oil in the year 1847. On our way back to Baku, we will visit Bibi-Heybat Mosque which is one of the most prominent Islamic architecture in the country. It is the spiritual centre for Muslims, but the interiors are most impressive. Post dinner, check-in to the hotel at Baku.


  • A kaleidoscope of bright colors

    After breakfast, we shall proceed to Azerbaijan Carpet Museum that displays various weaving techniques and hand-woven carpets featuring unique patterns and designs, meticulously crafted by skilled artisans from various periods. Carpets in Azerbaijan are a unique element of culture and carpet weaving has been cultivated, developed, and revered since ancient times. We will then enjoy a ride to the Nizami Metro station resembling an art gallery. Nizami metro station is in the top five most beautiful metro stations in the world named after the great Azerbaijani poet and philosopher Nizami Ganjavi.

    As we drive around Baku, the wave-like shell of Heydar Aliyev Center in the heart of the gleaming Azerbaijani capital is the first thing that will greet us with its imposing and innovative architecture. We shall have a visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, world-class exhibition, museum complex and state-of-the-art auditorium, which is an icon of modern Azerbaijan for its astonishing curved, wave-like shape and innovative use of space.

    In the evening post dinner, move towards the Baku international Airport to fly back home carrying beautiful memories of Azerbaijan’s extra ordinary natural landscape, folklores and legends.

Yes. Azerbaijan allows e-Visa for Indian passport holder and same will be applied by 50+ Voyagers and cost of it is included in tour package for Indian passport holders. For Non-Indian passport holder, extra supplement fee may be applicable to apply for eVisa.

The architectural marvels in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara were sights to behold.
